Ghosts, Goblins, and Pets!

KeylessEntryLocks.com Halloween is just around the corner. Besides making sure you have the candy and costumes you need, be sure your pets are being protected during this dangerous holiday.

While the pumpkins are being carved and candy being eaten, here are 5 helpful tips to keep your pets safe: Halloween Time
  1. Make sure you have an ID tag on your companion. Pets have a greater chance of getting out of the house since the door is being opened a lot.
  2. Be careful with the placement of pumpkins with candles. They can easily be knocked over by dogs and cats and start a fire.
  3. We know dressing your pet up can be fun, but if you do, make sure the costume isn’t annoying or unsafe to the pet.
  4. During the peak of trick-or-treating, keep only the friendliest dogs and cats out to visit the visitors.
  5. No tricks or treats for your dogs and cats, save the candy for the kids. Chocolate and the wrappers on all candies can be harmful to any animal.
And because Halloween is a night of tricks and treats,  you might want to take a little extra care to secure your buildings and vehicles from kids that are out to have some fun.
