Can Your Hotel be Trusted?

KeylessEntryLocks.com A couple months ago during the planning of a family road trip, Kevin, Missy and their two boys decided to search for a place to stay. One hotel had a very nice ocean side view. Another had a water park. The next had no pool, but was a little bit more reasonable. They opted for the cheaper one.

After driving from Minnesota down to Florida with their GPS telling them the way, they were on the home stretch; one final left and they pulled into the hotel parking lot.The hotel was a two-star hotel, so nothing special. The boys were just excited to get to sleep somewhere else besides their own beds.

The family checked-in and got the old fashioned style, metal keys to their room. It was a bit strange, but they didn’t question it too much. They unpacked and turned in for the night. The next morning, they locked the door and headed out for the day. They had a wonderful day and both the parents and kids were tuckered out by the time that got back to their room!

However, while they were gone, their room had been entered, searched, and some of their possessions stolen! Apparently, the previous visitor to their hotel room had made a copy of the keys and had easy access in.

Is there a way the family could have prevented this?
With today's technologies, every hotel should have a keyless, re-programmable lock such as a ON-RFID Keyless Lever Handle Lock. This lock has the ability to control up to 500 rooms and the cards can be deactivated individually by the front desk staff.
